It’s been nearly 50 days since we lost my dad, Alvin Neiman, in a tragic car accident, after a tree fell on his car while driving home with my mom, just seconds from their home. We are so thankful that my mom survived. And just devastated by the loss of my dad. The love and support we’ve had from family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers, has made our darkest days brighter. For 35 years, my dad was known as Professor Neiman, teaching accounting to thousands of students at Caldwell University. He loved teaching. He loved helping his students. He loved helping them find their own success. And we want to keep that spirit of helping, and his legacy alive at Caldwell University. We’ve started the the Alvin M. Neiman Memorial Scholarship Fund, and we’re working to endow it, so that my dad’s legacy can live on at Caldwell University forever. Every year, this scholarship will go to a student with a strong work ethic and commitment to community - just like my dad. Even though my dad is gone, we are grateful his legacy of helping can live on. If you can help us keep my dad’s legacy alive - please donate to the Alvin M. Neiman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Caldwell University in the link below - select "Give". Any donation is greatly appreciated. https://lnkd.in/eTRXVpB5

So many interesting insights in Lyra's #StateofWorkforceMentalHealth report. I love this one and its impact on the recruitment world: Mental health benefits are increasingly influential in job decision-making, with 80% of U.S. employees considering them important. Forget the ping pong tables. Employees want access to mental health care.
